Received an email from Buffalo that I'm placed in "Continuing Review" (aka eventual rejection). 🙁

Well last cycle I was placed in continuing review in september and then received a rejection in january, but I'm sure not everybody placed in this category will get a rejection. I was just hoping now with a great GPA in a grad program that it would have made a difference.
 
Hey everyone, quick question:
I received an email about 2 weeks ago stating University of Washington had received my primary(AADSAS) application and was just wondering if anyone had heard back from them regarding secondary apps, and what form they came in(snail mail or email). Also how long after the original email, did it take them to send the secondary info.? Thanks!
 
how long did it take them to send the secondary app after they had received everything?

I got the secondary email last Tuesday (8/24). AADSAS mailing date 7/2. DAT score sent 8/20 from the AADSAS.

secondary application comes in pdf file along with the email.
 
hey guys, is this weird....i got an interview invite from UMDNJ last week (August 28th I believe) via email. But they didn't receive my official DAT scores yet from AADSAS since I JUST took the DAT on August 18th. I did fax them my unofficial scores though. I hope they didn't make a mistake! Anyone else hear from UMDNJ?

to all midwestern AZ interviewees who already planned out their trip:

i just called supershuttle to reserve transportation, but they wouldnt give me the 4 dollar discount without the coupon code. however there is no discount code given in the attachment email sent by midwestern

anyone know whats up?
 
I'm worried that I didn't hear from VCU or NYU yet. I know others received interview invites from them already. This wait is killing me! I can't concentrate at work....

Lol you definitely didn't get rejected b/c of your stats. In fact, you have awesome stats!

as the other poster suggested you didn't get rejected because of your stats –rather it is what you wrote in your app. I got rejected for the same reason last year and got accepted 6 out of 8 schools I applied to... here is the thread where someone from LL tried to justify as why they can reject anyone (which is of course their right) and why we should go to other schools if we don't like their policies:

lol just got app received/fee requeset from Tufts. i guess thats my news for the week :laugh::laugh::laugh:..... ahhhh sigh
 
people who are getting Columbia invites, when was your AADSAS status marked as complete?

also did ASDOH ever show up on AADSAS? cuz i did my supplementary a while ago and i still have nothing

You probably got rejected because your not a SDA. Who cares about Loma Linda anyway when there are so many other better schools to choose from. I am from California and Loma Linda is the only school in Cali that I did not bother applying to. Its location sucks too.

Also received my supplemental application from WVU today via snail mail. Really basic application appears to be just a fee collector.

I just got my secondary from U Maryland today plus a Case interview March 24... which will probably end up getting cancelled if I get other interviews

how did maryland contact you? are you instate, what was your mailing date. please share the info!!!
 
man some of you guys got really early interviews for nova. Comparatively speaking anyway. Mine's set for January 13th. By then, I'll likely have already found out from UMDNJ haha.
 
UNC changed to Received/UnderReview!!!

Nothing had happened since I submitted in July. Keeping the hope alive!
 
So far only an interview invite from Nova in October. Otherwise, just emails from the rest asking to pay fees or that my app is complete.

I'm a little worried - due to some family events over the summer, my app was submitted later than I wanted (late july) and I gave up attempts of retaking my DAT (average scores the first time with a couple low sections). The anxiety over interviews has made me think about trying to retake again, but I'd have to push it to October, and I don't know if that'll be too late to matter.

via email just saying they wanted to know more about me basically and to fill this stuff out or make a video. I am from NY, all my stuff is on predents, and my mailing date was ~ 7/30 but my LOR didnt get processed until 8/20

For those who have gotten interviews from Louisville - how long after you got the "application complete" email did they invite you?

I got the app complete email a few days ago, and Louisville one of my top 2 or 3 choices, so I'm getting anxious. I wish I could tell them how much I'd love to go there, but I don't want to hassle them.

I got a UF interview, but got rejected from Nova, have not heard from midwestern yet.
 
Yay! App complete at Michigan (via Wolverine).

Still no news from Louisville, not even listed on AADSAS.

how is it that some schools dont update or even show up on aadsas. dont feel bad free. 5 out of 12 schools of mine are showing up. louisville is not one of them either...
