I don't know where he is.
I didn't hear/read anything about his leaving,
but as you can see,
I'll try to do something to make you miss him less -with Mycatin!

(Just kidding. Hopefully he's making someone fold their 3 queens with his
pocket K8, flop 7,9,10, turn Q, river 4 or something like that in hold'em. )
Beating someone with nothing is so satisfying...
 
He made two quick, short posts on 9/30/08. Prior to that, his last consistent posts were on 9/23/08 (and prior) with his "Norm"al posting pattern.

I'm sure he'll be back soon... with a pocketful of Texas Hold 'Em winnings and a fresh bottle of vintage Patron. 😀

Lets see.....hmmmm.....

1)My five year old gorilla started kindergarten...I don't know if you dudes know this, but current day, kindergarteners have homework!😱kinda ridiculous IMHO, but hey what do I know

2)Havent had much call lately which means my days are long since theres been no pre-call or post-call early days

3)My mother is ill. She lives in Florida (Bradenton). I'm very close with my sister who also lives in Bradenton...sister has no medical background so I've been the interpreter for her with all thats going on. Guess its been kinda draining. Mom had an appointment at Moffet today. Please pray for my mom.

4)Feelin' kinda not inspired, SDN-prose speaking. For a myriad of reasons. I post here for alotta reasons....one of them is that I like to write....gotta book in progress (uhhhhh..its been in progress for several years now) and I've been channeling more effort into my "dream" lately(my dream of becoming a best selling fiction author....I KNOW...I KNOW....such a long shot...but hey, we can all dream, huh?. Actually its a pretty good read, I think, so far....I've given myself until the end of 2009 to have a finished manuscript.

5)My two little boy-gorillas are growing up right in front of me!

6)Noy and Mil are kinda outta the loop lately. Kinda bums me out when I show up here since all of us go way back on this forum. I've spoken to both of them......both are kinda like me lately.....going thru an uninspired phase....which makes me think.....

Was talking with Mikey (Noyac) the other day about this....about how much info we've immortalized on SDN about our biz....stuff that noone talks about.

Forrest Gump started running one day and, uhhhhh, the dude ran for, I dunno, a year.

He inspired many during his run.

Then one day he stopped.

Not because of any issue other than he about covered everything during his "run time."

Maybe I'm at the end of the Forrest Gump Run.

I dunno.

Guess I'm asking for some guidance from all of you out there in the internet virtuality world....

Redundancy as a writer is uninspiring.

I kinda feel like I've posted about everything.

IN SUMMARY,

My personal life has been full lately.

I've felt SDN-uninspired.

My buddies arent posting much. I enjoy posting when Mikey and Hung are around. Just not the same without the Ex New York Mets Stud and the Anesthesiologist Who Has Forgotten More Anesthesia In The Last Few Years Than I've Ever Known posting beside me....and in fronna me.....and behind me....

Maybe its just a phase.

THE GOOD NEWS is that WITH JET OR SANS JET, SDN ANESTHESIA HAS ANOTHER ENTERTAINING STORYTELLER.

i am a pretty good writer, i dont see any specific prose copro writes in. not hating but i would like to see him write posts in iambic pentameter. i think i just like reading his stories as they are the closest to tucker max as we get on MD forums (at least until i get enough "sdn cred" to start posting stories).

I may also have ADD and im not sure what this has to do with anything but last night sarah palin said she would absolutely not let another holocaust happen which i think is the greatest/weirdest position any politician in the world can take. I mean i thought everyone kind of was in that position minus the president of iran.
 
Jet, maybe you should head down to DEUTSCHES HAUS for Oktoberfest tonight. German beer, brat, spaztel, and an Omm Pah Pah band would lift your spirits...

Wish I could!.....got the gorillas though...

Taking them to the Tulane/Army game tomorrow! My buddy's son is the starting center for Army so he's gonna have a cuppla army tents with beer and food....plus with all the pregame festivities my boys should have a great time...got both of them little Army t shirts! I got one too.....

here's the way i look at it. nobody should feel OBLIGATED to post. that is, to keep the forum "healthy". that takes the fun away. though, we all realize that this forum ebs and flows in terms of activity and content.

so, if anyone gets a little burned out, just touch base once in a while. don't feel like you must post or else..... that will take the fun away from it.

i realize some of the very senior dudes feel a sense of responsibility almost, to this forum. most of us have appreciated (and benefited from) this.

but, for the vets that have posted their hearts out, even though you think you sound like a broken record, 1) you don't. AND 2) if you feel that way, just stick around. don't put so much emotional tax into this thread, but DO come by. maybe you guys can take a chill out period if needed. we all know you deserve it. just don't feel guilty. touching base from now and then (at a minimum, but no pressure....lol) is good for us.

thanks dudes. i need some sleep.
