Really don't know where else to apply.
I will settle for any MD or DO school in the country. I just want to get in somewhere and not have to wait a year.

Since you are Mexican you are considered URM. Your best chances would be at the newer DO schools and DO schools with MCAT medians in the 24 to 26 range (498 to 502 on the new MCAT). You could try these DO schools:
ARCOM (new school)
ACOM
BCOM
WCU-COM
LMU-DCOM
UP-KYCOM
WVSOM
VCOM (all 3 schools)
ATSU-SOMA
NYIT-Arkansas (new school)
RVU-Utah (new school)
UIW (new school-Texas)
Your high GPA and the fact that you are Mexican American and bilingual should attract the attention of some schools.
For MD school the GPA-MCAT grid for Hispanic-Latino applicants shows you have a greater than 50% chance for a MD admission. So apply to all your Texas schools (including the DO school) and you may attract interest from some schools.
It is important to apply by July and submit all your secondaries by August.

You might be a reasonable candidate for the Puerto Rican schools that accept US applications. 3.7/25 in Texas might be enough for a state school or two to show interest as well.

It's also worth noting odds with a Texas school improve significantly with an MCAT retake to 504+.

I Suck at CARS man. Too difficult for English second language.
Ya applying to Ponce and two more via AMCAS. In regards to residency, will I be at disadvantage coming from a non-US school? I've read things about IMG status and whatnot.

Cool. I appreciate the advice. Applying to all texas schools. Focusing on DO schools.

Ya thinking about getting one at $200 ish. Best bang for the buck man.
1080's running at $800 lolz. insane.

Lol I know. I can't justify (or afford) $800 for a video card. I have a 3770k as well running at 4.5 ghz on air, was using the H220x water cooling AIO but the pump broke. I plan to get one of the 480x cards this week to replace my 7950. Interesting to find another med school applicant into custom PC overclocking.

Did you really copy these two sentences verbatim from my thread?

The Puerto Rican schools are US MD schools accredited by the LCME.
Three of them consider mainlanders (all but UPR).

Lolz, younger brother owns a 7950. He's planning on getting a gtx 1070 but they're all out of stock xD.

Yeah I heard the stock of the Rx 480s is supposed to be substantial at launch but nvidia's cards are limited stock. I'm probably going to pick one up from Microcenter on Thursday or order from Amazon tomorrow depending on what each place has, should be awesome. Is there a particular brand you're going to get (Sapphire, Evga, etc.)?

For AMD I always get MSI or sapphire with custom open air coolers. Really allows you to OC the card later on when flashing tools become more popular. Will be interesting to see how far you can push this card in air. Might grab one at microcenter too and run some benchmarks xD. What games do you currently play?

Yeah my 7950 is an MSI with custom cooling. Around the turn of the year I was playing Battlefront, it's been harder recently for me to find good games in the last few years now that everything's designed with consoles in mind. I played through the first part of the Witcher, I'll probably reinstall both again to see how they look with the new card. Anything you're playing these days?

Currently playing the witcher 3 DLC. Blood and Wine I believe it's called. GTX 780 TI with kraken g10 and H110. OCed to 1,350 Mhz with 1.25 volts. Stays cool in the 55C. Runs the witcher maxeout without Nvidia hairworks at 70ish FPS. Rig looks great xD.
I remember my brother complaining about how the 7950 could barely run the witcher at 50 fps in medium settings lolz. He's getting a 1080 when prices come down.

Anyways I've heard med students in MS1-2 tend to just stay home and watch the lectures online at 2X speed. Is that true?

wat
how is my score relevant lol
also my gpa is 3.47 🙁

If you're worried about getting into any MD or DO school in the country with a 98% MCAT and a slightly below average GPA then you're highly misinformed

I sure hope you're right

Would you recommend applying to California and Florida DO Schools with my stats?

What was your score breakdown? So that we can see how easy it will be for you to improve on a retake...
