hey guys, i just wanted to thank ppl for getting me through the april mcats. i never posted, but it was comforting to know that i wasn't the only one stressing.

so now, i have my score, and i have no idea where to apply to.
right now, i'm a biomechanical engineering major at stanford with a 3.5ish overall, and prob like a 3.3 to a 3.4 science, with a 36R on the mcats, and i'm from indiana, with decent ec's

anyone wanna help me out as to what my reach/normal/safety schools are? i think my normal's indiana university, so...i'm sorta working off that.

thanks for all the help so far guys!

what are u looking for in a school? what kind of curriculum? p/f or grades? What about location of the school? Are you going for academic medicine? All these things will help to come up with a list of schools to apply for?

Definitely check out the schools website and requirements. I am a reapp, and the first time I applied, I didn't look at the reqs, I just picked schools that were in a good location. I ended up not having enough humanities for some of the schools that actually sent me secondaries back. So, I basically wasted money. Be sure you do a thorough check.

hey thanks guys,

so yeah, i'm looking for clinical medicine, MD program, preferrably p/f

i'm from indiana, and i went to school in cali, i've realized that location doesn't matter any more, haha. i had enough of a culture shock in cali (i'm asian, and in cali, i don't think i've ever seen that many asians outside of asia) that i can prob handle most places
