Hi, I’m a dual US-citizen. I currently have two options of college:
The first one is staying in Egypt. In Egypt, I will enroll at a medical school program that gives me the MD degree after 7 years of studying. College in Egypt is almost free, and I’ll get to do the 3-step equalizing tests and still manage to work in the US.
The next option would be Stony Brook University. Stony Brook has an above average undergrad program of Biology/Bioengineering. It is also home to a relatively large hosptial. The only obstacle I face is medical school’s competition in admission and tuition. Medical schools in the US are extremely expensive and difficult to get in.
The point is, I worked really hard to study abroad, and I don’t want to miss out on this chance. I’m also told that USA med school graduates find jobs more often than international doctors. I hope to hear from you as soon as possible, so that I can submit my tuition deposit at Stony Brook.
