Not to answer your question, but do you mind if I ask what is your GPA and DAT is to get in Howard? and what did they ask you during your interview. Thanks...

having lived in the shadow of DC for 15 years, all i can say is good luck. Anything within the district is going to be expensive or "undesirable", and anything that is affordable and "nice" will leave you with a rotten commute. Howard is smack dab right in the middle of DC and I didn't see any easy/relatively minor traffic way to get there.
