where to apply?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
you should check out the medical school book that lists the schools with the stats of the applicants that they "say" they take. it seems to me that applying to a range of schools is the best way to go!! good luck

All depends on what state you are from but those stats make you competitive for most schools.

You even have a shot at the most competitive schools depending on the rest of your application.

You should be chill for all DO schools as long as you have the proper EC's to back your stats up.

hey, thanx for the replies. I looked at the med school book, but since a lot of the figures are averages its hard to gauge where I actually have a decent shot. Does anyone know of specific schools that take my scores or lower? i'm interested in FL schools and the NE US (as an out-of-state applicant).

Apply to all FL schools, it looks like youre competitive for all of them.

As for the northeast, Tufts, BU, UVM, Drexel, Albany, Rochester, Dartmouth, GW, and NYMC all are realistic schools for your numbers. You either just above or just below the "average" for these schools.

Always look at the number of out of state residents accepted as that should be a factor in where you apply.
