where to put pending publication in ERAS

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You could list it as an Accepted or In Press publication. Or, if it has a Pubmed ID, I'd list it as a normal publication.

thank you for your replies!
But I can't find the options like "accepted publication", "in press publication" or "article/abstract"
I don't know if it is changed in eras 2012.
When I log into eras, I click the tab "application", then I click the tab "publications", Then I can see some drop down choices in "Publication type". But no matter which one I select, it always asks me to fill out the exact publication date, otherwise the information cannot be saved.

Where do you list pending publication?

Select on the drop down menu: Peer Reviewed Journal Articles/Abstracts (Other than Published)
Fill out the Title/Author/Journal Title.
Choose Publication Status: Submitted, Provisional Accepted, Accepted, In Press.
I would select when the event chosen above took place if the date of publication is unknown.

How about a paper that is about to be submitted for publication in the next month or so? I know that once you certify and submit, you cannot change the publications section. Is there an easy way to relay the publication submission to programs on eras? I don't want to wait until the paper is submitted to certify and submit ERAS.

For the date on the drop down field on myeras pick the date when the paper was submitted or accepted for publication. Then put in parentheses after the paper title (submitted/accepted in Month 2011 for publication in Month 2011). The first month will be sometime in the past and the latter one will be in the future (Oct, Nov, Dec etc). Hopefully you know when it will be published, what edition, issue etc.
