I interviewed yesterday. The interview was 3-on-1 classic interview. The committee consisted of an established community physician, a 3 year surgical resident, and a 4th year medical student. I know their names but I do not have their e-mail addressed nor is there a way to find these. I want to send "thank you" notes. What is the best way to do it? Do I just write them by hand and mail to the admissions office?

I don't think sending them vs not sending has any bearing on the outcome, the school didn't explicitly address "thank you" notes during the interview day etc. At the beginning of the interview one of the members said that they are here to advocate for me. The interview was very nice and I do think it went very well.

Thanks.

Just one more thing, do you think that writing them all as "individualized" for each committee member would be appropriate or would you write one generic to be forwarded to all members? Basically, something along the lines of

"Dear AdCom,

please forward the following to:

Member A

blah blah blah

Member B

blah blah"

or rather

"Dear Adcom,

please pass on my gratidute for the opportunity to Member A, Member B..."

I would do the 3 individual notes reflecting on something said between you and each respective member. This is what I have done.
