I just finished my DAT and would like to apply this upcoming cycle. Unfortunately, I have very little shadowing hours (30) and no volunteer hours. Does it look bad if I cram all my volunteer hours within a few months? Also, where do I look for volunteer/shadowing opportunities? Sounds like a dumb question but I am truly lost.....

Well at this point you shouldn't worry if schools think you are cramming your hours. Just go for it! I shadowed my own dentists. In addition, there is a dental clinic on my campus, so I worked there for a semester. I would recommend going to your advisor and asking them if there are any nearby clinics. I'm sure a quick google search will lead you to clinics that provide dental services for underprivileged people. That would be a a great place to shadow at! In terms of volunteering, you can really do anything. I worked with mentally disabled kids and set up different games/sports. There are a plethora of volunteering opportunities.
