hi everyone!
i was wondering if anyone knew what was the best (close) place to stay in hershey. i was trying to see what hotels i should stay in but i just had no clue...maybe even a walking distance from penn state if thats even possible. i looked all over the website and i don't think they have a host program. if anyone has any interview experience there or go to pennstate, i would welcome any feedback! thanks! 🙂

Hi Genome,

I stayed at the Best Western for 60 dollars (I think). It was a five minute drive from the school. Penn State's travel agency (Omega travel) set me up with it. Their phone number is 814-238-6000. They said the Hershey Lodge was walking distance from the school and their student rate was $100/night. I think you need to go through the travel agency to get the student rates.

Good luck!

I stayed at Addys Inn for about $50. It is just down the road and you'd have to drive, but parking isn't bad at all (it's free). If you ask nicely, the lady at the desk will even drive you there and come get you when you're done. It's a nice place and its pretty reasonable. Good luck with your interview.

thanks guys! how were your interviews there?

Hey, if you want to save some money, there is a place called "Dutch MoteL" but it's in Palmyra, PA on 422. It's like 10 mins away from Hershey Med Center. It's only like $30 a night, a guy's parents i know owns it. Not bad, and it's clean. Hope that's of some help to ya.

Good luck

I stayed at the Herhsey Lodge. It was a little more than the other places, but they said they were in walking distance to the school. It isn't really walking distance because you'd have to cross a highway (not really possible), but they had a free shuttle that took me. The place was really nice. It kind of reminded me of a Disney type place.

They have a student host program...it's FREE and the students are really nice and accomodating. Ask Winnie about it!

BonBon
