Hi Everyone,
As I'm finishing up my AADSAS, I came upon a question regarding where I can fit my engineering design project on the professional experience section. I've spent half a year on this project and put in well over 400 hours. During this time, I've gained so much experience working as a team, working with my hands (building frame and body of formula car) and independent research. I feel like it'd be of great benefit to me to include this experience on my application.
However, out of the sections on the app, it's not work experience as I'm not paid. It doesn't seem to be extracurricular/volunteer since I was getting school credit for it. I know that academic enrichment programs typically include simulations courses for predents so not sure if it really fits there. The closest thing I can think of is research experience, even though it really isn't like a typical research project someone would have in bio (with publications and such). I'm a bit stumped so any suggestions are welcome, thanks.
