I have a question for everyone out there:

So I'm very happy to have gotten into Dental schools 😀 For awhile I was really nervous, reading about everyone's acceptances here and thinking damn. i hate you all. but now there's nothin but love 😍

But now that MAY is approaching, the time has come to choose one school.

so.....

BU or UMD? Which Dental program is better? Or maybe they're the same?? 👍 👎

Putting stats aside, Do you have family close by either school?

Did you visit both schools? Did you get a feel for both schools? What school is a better 'fit' for you? My dad who is a teacher always says you need to find the right school for the student. If the student isn't going to be happy there, they aren't going to do well there.

Go to UMD. It has a brand new clinic and much cheaper tuition. Its an awesome school.

There is a cost difference because UB is private and UMD would be an in-state school for me, but will that sum truly matter in the long term? (if im wrong here, please correct!)
So, cost put aside I felt that I could be happy at both schools. UMD has the brand new dental facility, UB has the APEX prgm which sounded pretty cool...
This may sound stupid but part of the difference for me is the cities. Baltimore vs. Boston - and this is because to me education-wise both schools feel pretty equal, so my decision is kind of being based on what city I would feel happier in. Then again I feel pretty stupid choosing a school just because I liked the city better. Which is why input on what dental school people think would provide a better education would be really helpful!! Anyone? Sorry for being long and rambly 😳

congrats ...what kind of stats do u have?

does location matter to you....if not go with you in-state school
