I've tried calling them all week and it either says they're closed (even though I'm calling during their office hours . . . and yes, I know they're on EST) or that I need to leave a message and they'll call me back. I've left 2 messages and no one's calling me back. Anyone know what's going on here. My application is hanging in the balance! 🙁

I did have hard time getting in touch with them. Whenever I called, they were closed. I did get a hold of someone eventually though, but it was during last summer so I'm sure they had less phone calls. Do they have e-mail? If so try that as well.

they are super slow replying to emails...i wouldn't waste my time. just keep calling every number listed in their staff directory.

Thanks guys. I FINALLY got a hold of someone (FYI: They don't return calls either!). He was useless though. I'm guessing I will be calling next week too. 🙁 Why do we do this to ourselves? 🙄

For the stiff fees we pay to them you'd think they could have at least one customer service rep to answer phone calls. Now I'm worried that it will be the full 6 weeks before they're done with my app. Khenon, were you trying to check on the status of your application? I was thinking about doing that too.....

Yes I was. My application was complete and all materials received by Dec. 27. So he said my file should get verified and sent out some time next week (that would be about 4 weeks from the complete date). If it's not done by next Friday I'm going to be calling again. And again. And again . . . until that damn thing is sent!

So he said my file should get verified and sent out some time next week (that would be about 4 weeks from the complete date). If it's not done by next Friday I'm going to be calling again. And again. And again . . . until that damn thing is sent!

Here is my details with AACOMASI submitted my app on 11/15 and they did not have one of my transcripts even though it had been sent. So I had to call and finally they found it. So I was complete on 11/22 and my app was mailed to schools on 01/06. I applied to 13 schools and so far i have gotten secondaries from 11 schools and 1 school put my app on hold until "they further review it which will take 3 -4 weeks (Edward via Virginia). I am still waiting on a secondary from 1 other school (Touro Nevada). The Secondaries started rolling in on 01/14 and have continued (a couple a day). Anyways I hope this gives you some idea of the time frame. You should start hearing something pretty in a week or so. Hang in there you are going to get in.

I think the 2 times I got right through, it was in the afternoon (keep in mind they are on EST). So maybe they're more likely to answer their phone in the afternoon . . . I don't know. But every time I've called in the morning, even though it was during their office hours, I've gotten a message telling me they're closed. Anyway, it seems somewhat random, but I wouldn't hesitate to call, and call, and call, until you reach someone. So far I've left 3 messages and they've never called me back, so you really need to get through. Good luck!

My app got mailed to COMP on Jan. 6th and I got my secondary on Jan 20th (2 weeks). I have been finishing up all of my secondaries this weekend. It is like a full time job!! Good luck with everything.

No kidding! Especially COMP's app. I can't believe how long it is! But I've been working on it for the last couple of weeks, so I plan on sending it the second they request it. I don't know. I'm just so jaded about this whole process. 4 weeks was Monday. Of course, it could take a day for the status page to update, but still. I just want the damn thing out! It better be out by this Friday. But yours was complete a few days before mine, so I guess yours will get out faster then me. Let me know once yours gets sent. I'll know mine shouldn't be far behind then.

Well, I'm hoping for 4 weeks, because when I called they told me that's how long it was taking as of right now. But who knows. I'm going to nag them until it gets sent though. I don't have all the time in the world here.

AND, more good news. COMP is letting me send my LOR's right away (even they don't have my primary). Once they get my profile, I can send them the secondary (which I have all finished!) and I'll be complete. I could feasibly be complete by the end of next week! Woo-hoo! Come on interview!!
