To all my Family Medicine Class of 2014, where are you headed next month? Employed, hospital based, independent, teaching, etc?
I'm headed back home, working for a small private practice doing obstetrics (including deliveries). I will also moonlight for the hospital as a hospitalist PRN.
I'm super excited (and scared). This is the hospital I worked at for 8 years during undergrad and med school, so the pressure is on for when that first baby needs a full resuscitation, or the first crashing patient. I'm also sharing call with docs who just a few years ago I was entering their orders...do I have to wait another three weeks?
