I understand that several OMFS residents have been able to match into programs with low class rank, so I understand it’s possible, but I’d like to know, which programs have (or alternatively, if the list is shorter, which do not have) cutoffs for class rank? Obviously some of the programs explicitly list it on their site, but many do not, and from speaking to others it seems that certain programs have an internal number that they do not publish, but nevertheless use to weed out candidates. These are the programs I’m most curious about. I had a class rank in the top 40%, so I’d just like to have some insight so I don’t apply to a program that is going to immediately throw out my application before even looking it over.

This would be very hard to compile. It would be hard for programs to have a cutoff because of pass/fail schools (some of which are big OS feeders like Columbia) in addition some graded schools that do not rank. If you have a good CBSE and like a program there is no reason not to apply.
