I've found that most universities have a Biochemistry course offered exclusively by the Chemistry/Biochemistry Dept. and a Biochemistry course, usually toned down by the Biology Dept. Which one would you prefer to help on the MCAT the most? Here is a thread on the topic about 5 years ago, but things change...5 years ago the MCAT was on paper and Facebook was Ivy only. Go figure.

Agreed that for the MCAT it won't be too useful for you. However, if you apply to one of the handful of schools that requires biochem to matriculate, you might want to e-mail them and ask what they're looking for.

When I went to FSU, they told me to take the one offered by the chem. department but for MCAT wise I dont think it makes a difference
