I would buy:
BRS Physiology and Pathology
High yield Embryology, anatomy, neuroanatomy, cell and molecular biology
And buy First aid and step up at the beginning of second yr (new editions often come out for both books).

I agree with all the above mentioned books, and would add High Yield Behavioral Science, and Microbiology made redic. simple. They're both very good.

I really liked the High Yield Embryology and the BRS Anatomy. Medical Micro Made Ridiculously Simple is, by far, the best on in that series.

I also loved Lange's Medical Micro & Immunology. I used it almost exclusively for learning immunology. In general, the Lange review books are much more detailed than other review books and much less cumbersome than the dusty texts your faculty will require.

Take care,
Jeff

I agree

BRS PATHOLOGY, PHYS are the best!
Smaller Katzung for Pharm, Or Lippincott Pharm
Lippincott Biochem rules
HI Yield: Anatomy, Embryology

Definitely!
