Which class(es) is or are hardest for

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
P1- Physiology
P2-Pharmacology
P3- Therapeutics

Mainly the "big" classes in each year.

P1- Biochem
P2- Medicinal Chemistry- Lots of info coming at you fast but if you keep up it isn't too bad.
P3- Therapeutics

P1 - pharmacokinetics
P2 - CHF and arrhythmia module

First year Pharmaceutics sucks ass.

That's the one I'm struggling with too, though the prof has been pretty generous with partial credit so we aren't doing to bad grade wise. I know a lot of people in my class are having problems with Biochem.

I am just a P1 but for this semester, pharmaceutical science is the hardest for me.

Pharmaceutics for sure if you are judging by grades. It's my only B this semester, I have an A in all my other classes.

None of the math in the class trips me up, but some of the memorization stuff on tests did. Our professor had a list of water and oil soluble antioxidants, chelating agents, and function groups subject to hydrolysis or oxidation to memorize for part of our first test (he said it would be multiple choice). He throws ALL these into one big matching list. Match the names to their category. Easy right? Nope, he purposely misspelled a bunch of them... if they are misspelled the correct answer was "none of these". Needless to say, a ton of people lost points in this area.

For the last two tests, I'll know the spelling forwards and backwards.

If you judge a class by how painful it is to sit through lectures, then biochem. This is my highest grade this semester (96), but it is taught by 3 different professors. 2 of them are good teachers, but one is so unorganized it's painful. She comes into class always forgetting where she left off last time, doesn't follow a coherent path as she goes through the material, and her accent is very thick - you focus so hard on the individual words coming out of her mouth that you lose all the context of the material she's covering.

Most people just play minesweeper on their laptops while she lectures. She puts out a study guide for her sections on the tests. Everyone just studies that. The lectures are truly unproductive time.

That's brutal...but I think the answer to the OP's question depends on the school. Certain schools are notorious for certain classes being particularly hard, for me it's biochem. Cannot comment on P2 & P3 yet.
