I am about to purchase Crack DAT PAT for my computer, I would like to know which edition is the best to go with: King, Ace, or Royal flush? Royal flush is significantly more expensive than the other two, it is $200, at the same time it also includes a lot more practice problems.

Thank you again for your help.

I got the ACE version, as do most people. However, if I would do it all over again I would get the Royal Flush version. I finished the practice exams (10) fairly quickly and I ended up repeating some of the old exams for practice.

That's just me. I read that a lot of people don't even finish the 10 exams, and that they take the DAT with just doing CDP a few times.
I believe you can upgrade whenever you want if you feel you want more practice.

I went with the Royal Flush and it was worth every penny! The PAT practice is invaluable, and while I can't speak for everyone, I felt that the practice PAT problems on Crack DAT were harder than the actual DAT questions. Angle rankings were on par with what you get on the DAT, as opposed to some programs (*cough*kaplan*cough*). I scored 25 on PAT, and feel like I owe most of that to Crack DAT. The wide variety of tests and extra practice questions more than made up for the extra money I shelled out. Hope this helps and good luck!!! 🙂

I'd buy the full version of CDP (and CDM possibly). I only took 1 of their reading tests (which wasnt bad, but just didnt feel like i needed to practice it), and took 1 science which wasnt helpful at all.

Instead of CDM, maybe math destroyer would be more helpful? I never used math destroyer, but CDM was only good for teaching you a certain number of problems. There wasnt much variety in CDM, but their video answers were helpful.

Royal Flush Edition was really helpful for me. I definitely agree that it was worth every penny.

CDP helped a ton... I was making 17's before i started and I got a 25 on the PAT section of the DAT, I agree worth every penny.

Also, I really did not find the science, math, or reading parts of crack the dat helpful at all.

Hope this helps...🙂

Well I'm sold! Royal flush edition it is, thank you everyone.

Royal Flush Edition was really helpful for me as well. I also definitely agree that it was worth every penny. Please buy it.

I bought it all and if I were to do it again I would only get crack dat pat. The science sections were worthless, the math section...if you had a ton of time would be ok because they have some pretty hard word problems with video explanations but nothing compares to Math Destroyer for the math section. Save your money and just get the PAT section.

hi guys,

I have a month to study for my DAT, and I was thinking of buying the Royal Flush Crack DAT.

Do you guys have any remarks about Top Scorer? There were quite a few reviews on Amazon about how it wasn't similar to the real exam at all, from the formatting to the questions.

thanks!

You have more than a month. What's the rush to have it finished by january?

Top score is very similar to the real DAT and will closely predict your actual score. Buy the royal flush if money isnt that much of an issue. If you're on a tighter budget, buy the full version of just PAT (and possibly math). Science and reading arent that helpful.

Visit the DAT forum.
