Which DAT Destroyers ?

I see there are several options for the DAT Destroyer. Which one(s) should one purchase? Is getting the 2014 book a good idea for someone taking the test in 2016 or would it be best to wait for an updated version? Is it too early to start reviewing for a text taker next winter? This is for a Christmas gift for a pre-dental student (her request) so advice is appreciated!

I think you should be fine getting the 2014 version as a gift. I used the 2009 version and took the test in June this year, and it prepared me well.

I would definitely get an updated version as there are manyyyy added questions every year. I found that it was well worth the extra money. My scores were 23 AA, 25 TS. Good luck to your hopeful future dentist!

what an awful christmas present request haha. Anyways i bought the 2009 books and my friend had the 2014 set. It was almost the same, he had about 40 more questions/section. thats a 5 year gap though, 2014 vs 2016 should be fine. I took my test in April.
