All else being equal which dental applicant has the upper hand?
-one who took DAT's twice with 1st AA= 18/ 2nd AA= 22
-or one who scored a 21 in one shot
In my opinion it would be the 21 on the first shot. Schools correlate your DAT scores to scholastic achievement in dental school and board scores. A good score on the first shot means somethin. Hope this helps

While what was said above may be true, the 22 is still very strong BECAUSE dental schools want to boast highest stats possible, they don't have to say how many times their students took the DAT but they can say they have someone with a 22.

thats what I was thinking... there was a story last year about a girl with a 4.0 and a 22 AA who interviewed at Columbia august/sept time and didnt get accepted till March! They said they were hoping for a class with 23's and above. but I guess just as with any other question, it all depends on the school.
