Which DO schools don't require the LORS to be "complete" for interview?

I have 3/4 of my LORS (not my Dr LOR yet..slow), and I am wondering which schools don't require LORS to be complete?

I know a few say that a file is not complete until all documents including LOR are received...

For OU-HCOM in particular, your file can be considered complete without a physician letter. The required letters are two from natural science faculty who taught you for a grade OR a premedical committee letter if your institution uses that process. For us, a DO letter is strongly encouraged but not a requirement and letters from MD's are completely fine.

Based on my research, PCOM and NYIT don't require LORs from DOs, but do strongly recommend it.

I assume you mean "complete" in the sense of being able to receive ii, correct?

If that's your question, I know for sure that the LECOMs and LUCOM will offer interviews even if you don't have your LOR ready. They will not, however, tell you if you're accepted or not until they receive such letters, and for LECOM specifically they will send you an ii and ask you to send the LOR before the day of your interview.

I also know that AZCOM and ATSU require LOR before and ii can be issued.

I hear you don't need to have LORs in to NSU before interview. Can anyone confirm this?

WVSOM doesn't look at your LOR's until you're invited for an interview

I would like to know this specifically about NSU too.

I talked to a staff from NSU today. She gave me a courtesy call for some reason. I asked her about lor. How mine may not be sent for another 5 weeks bc of my stupid pre health committee. She said I don't need lors to get an interview date if other things are good. You just need the letters before attending the interview.

Are you positive about LUCOM? I have heard mixed things about it.

I think it might have changed this year, from following this year's LUCOM thread. Last year it was as I described.

At any rate, schools vary on their LOR requirements. The only sure way of knowing is to visit their webpage or contact the schools directly. For me, since I had all letters by verification time, I simply sent them at the time I submitted my secondaries, so it wasn't to much of an issue in my specific case (which explains my mistake with LUCOM).

Ugh, I hope so. Some guys in the NSU thread were adamant that you needed them though.
