Which DO schools start in the summer

I am finishing my degree in the summer around August 6th. I was just wondering which DO school starts in the summer and which starts in the fall. I know MSU starts in the summer but thats about all I know

LECOM-Erie starts on the last Monday in July.

Nova starts orientation on August 4th.

Last year, at least, LMU started orientation at the very end of July and it runs about a week before classes start.

WVSOM starts the very first Monday in August...3 day orientation (new this year, used to be a full week...I believe they're keeping that change for 2010 entry, too), then classes begin.

MSU-COM has orientation starting June 24th. Their anatomy classes begin right after orientation.

VCOM started August 18th this year (I think). Orientation was three days starting August 12th.

Ah I see thanks everyone! does anyone know by any chance when DMU and PCOM start? I mean if they start in late July I can still catch up on August 6th...right? Or do I get kicked out if I dont show up for a week?

You have to be at orientation; it's required. I would say 90% of all medical schools (MD + DO) start around August 1 (+/- one week).

I believe that most schools want you to have your degree completed prior to matriculation.

COMP starts the first week of summer, but there is an optional summer anatomy course ("Intensive Summer Anatomy Course," ISAC) that students can take, and if you do well, you'll be paid to TA lab during the regular GA course. Regardless of if you TA, if you pass ISAC, you don't have to take gross during first semester.
