I have finished 15 secondaries so far, and am low on funds and motivation at this point. Deadlines are approaching, and I am wondering if it is worth my time/$$ to complete any of the secondaries I have left: Johns Hopkins, Pritzker, Georgetown, and Case Western. They are all long secondaries, and I don't have the money to do more than 2 of them, tops. I have a 32/3.75, Aug MCATer which is why I'm so late (although most of my apps were complete by the end of sep, pending MCAT scores). I don't have a lot of research experience (1 summer of mostly mixing buffers), so I figure that will hurt me at Hopkins and Chicago. Case also seems to have more of a research focus, and I don't really want to live in Ohio, so I probably won't finish that one. The only one I feel I should really work on is Gtown, because I like DC, but I've heard they're handing out rejections like candy and I don't want to throw $100 down the toilet. Opinions? Is it too late to be worth it at these schools?

If I recall correctly, word on the boards here is that Chicago has already given out enough acceptances and interviews that it's not worth finishing the secondary at this point. If someone wants to correct me, feel free. 🙂

Georgetown is not that long. It only asks "Why georgetown?", but the problem with them is that they are very "wierd" in their selection process. I know people that got intervies with a mid to high 20's and others that were rejected pre-interview with the 30-35 range. it seems they have no rhyme or reason when it comes to selection. Good luck
