Which Illinois Anesthesia Programs are DO friendly?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I don't know if any of them are that "friendly" (just because they may not be as aware of how to correlate the COMLEX to the USMLE). That being said, I think Loyola looks at DOs. Other programs in Chicago may as well, but I'm not as familiar with them.

although not in Illinois, MCW requires USMLE >200.

Does loyola or Masonic require usmle??

take the USMLE. step I and II.

more programs will be "DO friendly" if you do. i got interviews at loyola, UIC, rush, and uchicago when i was interviewing 2 years ago. northwestern at that time was notoriously anti-DO back then, not sure if it has changed.

I interviewed at 6 of the 7 programs in Illinois two years ago. Cook County only seems to take FMG's. Go figure. Anyhow, I did take USMLE step I, and I recommend all DO's do the same.

All of them are D.O. friendly.
