Which is the best EM program on the West coast between Cali and Oregon since Wash doesn't have a program. Also, how does Oregon's program compare to the Cali programs? I'd like to live on the coast but don't want to pay the prices of Cali homes.

The Inn N Out residency. Their PD is a real stickler. They also have some great fellowships.. HIGHLY HIGHLY competetive.

Quixotic - I guess I'll chime in before the rest of the group drives you crazy with the hangman (which seems to be the case with all previous people asking this question). Sorry, Ectopic and rest of the gang. Don't mean to ruin the fun but this question just pop up way too often and I thought I would kill the thread now. You can still complete the game though 🙂
So back to the original question - Quixotic, if you dig through this forum, you'll realize another person asked the same question like 2 days ago. And then another 2-3 people asked the same question within the past month. These threads die out soon because people are sick of answering this question. Go through Spyderdoc and DrQuinn's sticky (the first 2 threads on this forum) and there is a post in there that explains very clearly why there is no way to rank any residency program and why there is no such thing as the BEST program. I know this is not the answer you want but it's the truth. Good luck in finding your own best program (read that post and you'll know what I'm talking about).
