guy, i picked E as the answer but the correct answer is C. Have any idea?

Which of the following substances would dissociate completely when placed into excess amounts of distilled water?
(A) C2H5OH
(B) HC2H3O2
(C) LiNO3
(D) Mg(OH)2
(E) All of these will dissociate completely in water

Hydroxides also arent very soluble, they increase in solubility down the group however.

Group I elements always dissociate and so do nitrates

Alcohols are non-electrolytes; they don't dissociate in water. Only C is soluble.

Mg(OH)2 is not an alcohol. But I agree that C is the correct answer. Group I and NO3 compounds are highly soluble.

yea, a is ethanol... not soluble

b is a carbohydrate... not soluble

d is a hydroxide and aren't hydroxides only soluble with group I elements (ex. NaOH)?

C is a nitrate and a group 1 element. Both of these are 100% soluble.
