CalApplicant said:I WISH Berkeley had a med school...it would be one more state school to apply to. I think UCSF is often considered Berkeley's med school though. I know they're affiliated somehow and I think they have joint programs.

nabeel76 said:Actually - That was my bad. They don't have a med school, but I am applying to them for the remainder of my undergrad so I accidently put it in their. I think their school is somehow affiliated with UCSF for med school though.

UCLA hands down.....hot chicks

But after four years in L.A. I can't wait to get out (even though UCLA appears to be winning the poll right now). Go to the South. Vandy is a great school.
Plus to comment on the above quote, "hot chicks"...trust me, while Cali has some hot girls, nowhere tops the South.

However, don't move here.
Already enough yankees doing that as it is.
sdnstud said:decades ago, ucsf was considered "part of uc berkeley". for whatever reason, ucsf has become more indepedent last couple years. when i was a freshmen (1998) i was told by an admission advisor from ucsf that 40% of the ucsf class is reserved from uc berkeley students. i do not know if that is still true right now.
