which med school?

when applying to med school, should other factors have an influence on your decision to which med school to consider? i'm asking this question because i really like the atmosphere at cornell med school. i know that cornell is tough to get into but i just get a positive vibe with the neighborhood etc. am i nuts?

Other factors apart from what? you weren't very clear about that. But YES, non-academic stuff should be very important. You will be spending 4 years there after all, why live someplace you hate? Take care. --Trek

factors like location, neighborhood, people, environment, you know...aside from preparing yourself academically.
