Hi everyone. I'm a pre-med who just finished freshman year. I've been hearing different opinions on this question, and I'd like to get your input.

Does it really matter which med school you attend, so long as you attend med school?
and
Does the med school you attend have significant bearing on the residency you will get accepted to?

Somewhat, but not like law school. Its much more important how well you do in whatever school you go to. If you graduate near the top of your class at any school, you'll get noticed.
