Hi everyone, I am going to apply for Med-school next year, but i want to go for the one that don't have the research program during 4 years. Please let me which school don't have it 😳 and which school is easier to get in compare to other med-schools🙁?
Thanks,

What do you mean by "the research program"? A required thesis? You can find that in the MSAR.

Most schools have an optional research thesis and some require it. I think most schools that require some research contribution are the top schools so they're easy to avoid if you want to look for something "easy" to get into.

But yeah, buy the MSAR and they'll have an option to sort out different types of schools.

I would tell you all of them but that would take a lot of time that I honestly do not feel like wasting when you can get the MSAR and find out. However, if you tell me what schools you are interested in (barring an answer such as 'all schools without a required research project') I would be more than happy to tell you if they do or not.

Thanks you all for your help, i definitely will get a MSAR book, and do you guys think applying for prviate schools is easier to get in than state schools?

no.

uh..yes? many state schools don't accept any or few OOS'ers so those schools will be harder to get into than private schools. your own state school will be easier though in general. Some state schools are OOS friendly. it really depends

But his own state school is probs way easier and some states have a lot.

If you're a CA resident then private schools will be your friend. Just know that private schools tend to give less or no instate bias while state schools are biased. You can figure out the rest for your own situation.

I'm tired of the east coast having a monopoly on private schools, and the three Pacific states bringing out the pitch forks when OOSers come to the gates.

State politics I guess.
