Which medical schools have the highest IN STATE acceptance rate?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I had forgotten about the table but kudos go to DokterMom for posting it in one of OP's similar threads and reminding me about it. The table does have some caveats though. For example the number of total applicants for UND is incorrect and the number of matriculants is incorrect (though it's very very close to the actual numbers). Also, you have to account for seats reserved for INMED and WICHE/MN residents. So the numbers will give you a very close estimate, but keep in mind each school's exceptions.

Only conclusion I get from here is moving is irrelevant.

Unless you currently live in a state with no medical schools! Haha (I'm looking at you Alaska, Delaware, Maine, Wyoming, Montana, etc.) lol

Or a massachusetts resident that doesn't meet UMass's absurd residency requirements. It's worse than being a Californian.

At least some of those states have deals with other med schools to allocate certain seats for their residents. Alaska is Washington (I think?) Delaware is JMC, and Maine is Tufts. Not sure about the other two.

Meant to quote the post after this.

Those programs tend to be small though. ~20 spots tops for students from those states. I'd much rather have the Alabama, Vermont, Arkansas in-state deal lol

UMass, dawg.
Pretty much 100% IS.
