I have 4.0 GPA, 519 MCAT, research, 2 years, Volunteer in hospital, one a week for 2 years, shadow, one year, Gap year medical Scribe and research

Is the following list of schools reasonable? NYU, Yale,Hopkins, Penn, Vanderbilt, Wash U, Harvard, Stanford, Mayo, Cornell, Columbia, Mount Sinai, Medical School Of GA, Emory, UCSF, Case Western,

Haven't you met admissions officers through other AMSA members or open houses at schools? AMSA also publishes a lot of premed resources.

Thank you so much for your recommendation! Do I need to apply that many of schools? I was thinking 15-17. Is that sufficient?

I recommend 25-35. Do NOT aim too high. Have some Keck/Emory/Einstein class schools on the list for insurance.
