Medical Should I submit FAFSA before or after getting married?

I am getting married soon and starting Medical School this summer (2025). I am debating on filling out FAFSA before or after getting married. We live in a notoriously very expensive place to live.

My question is this: would it be better to file for FAFSA prior to getting married, or after getting married?
