I speak of cancer immunology in broad terms. I realize that most schools don't offer Ph.D.s in the discipline, but I'm open to programs in either immunology or cancer biology. Thanks in advance for your input.

I think our graduate programs here at Pitt are very strong in immunology and in cancer biology. Several cancer researchers are in our Pathology Dept, which is 4th in NIH funding for Path depts. We also have a new research/clinical facility, the Hillman Cancer Center, which is a great training environment for many physician-scientists in our program.

Make sure to check out websites for specific graduate programs. These will give you more detailed info than the MSTP websites alone.

Good luck 🙂

I'm not an expert in this field, but Stanford is strong in cancer immuno from what I hear. Definitely not a name to forget.
