I have letters from:

The Dean of Mech. Engineering at my Uni
Mech Engineering Research Professor at my Uni
Research Admin for a project I received a grant for
Volunteer Director at the hospital I volunteer at
EM physician (MD)
IM physician (MD)
The president of the company I work for (I've been an engineer at this company for 7 years)

I know the president of my company, Dean of M.E. and Research Admin letters are stellar, my weak letters are probably from the two physicians because I was only with them for 25 hours each (letters are probably positive but vague.)

I highly doubt any of these letters have any negative aspects as all of experiences were great and I am on great terms with each writer. My question is, should I submit all of these letters and if not, which ones should I submit?

Background:
cGPA = 3.14
sGPA = 3.32
MCAT = Not taken (assuming I need a 505+ to get an interview)
ER volunteer = 150 hours
Shadowing = 50 hours
Undergrad = Mechanical Engineering
Started our as a lazy 16 year old college student, first two years did a 2.44. Turned 18, got accepted into engineering school (had to beg the admissions office to make an exception) did a 3.51 for my three years in engineering school (graduated cum laude... not that is means anything to med schools) and worked full time throughout engineering school doing construction drafting and did a year and a half of post bacc with a 3.81.

I know the EC's are weak but it's the best I can do with a full time job and full time post bacc classes along with MCAT study...plus the GPA is in the toilet. I figure I've got a 50-50 shot of getting an interview if I apply to the bottom 15 DO schools but LORs and MCAT are the only thing I can change at this point to apply this year.

-Thanks in advance

So, obviously I understand that you are non-trad, but you should look at the website of schools you are interested in because some have specific academic letter requirements and specific guidelines about what they can be replaced with.

I would definitely send the ones you believe are strong. Possibly choose one one physician letter if you believe that are mediocre or do what you can to get a really good DO letter.

Thanks for the reply! Can I tell AACOMAS which letters to include for each application? I am trying to have all my letters saved in my AACOMAS app so I don't have to send each letter individually to each school.

The absolute strongest of your choices, provided that you already have a DO/physician letter picked out.

No, AACOMAS sends the same letters to all schools.

I know for sure you will need a science professor letter. Also some places would want or prefer a DO letter so try to get those this spring if you can. Might be easier to have all these letters in interfolio and submit them to individual schools, but it will definitely cost more.

make a list of what attributes and qualities each letter would probably reflect about you and scrap the one(s) you feel are similar and potentially not that strong.

AACOMAS submits all letters of recommendation to each school you designate on your primaries. some pick and choose the ones they require, others just take the first few. you should do your research and avoid schools that require a DO letter.
