Which of these is a tertiary amine?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Yes. Maty has it right - offering up solutions to problems on their first post on SDN, like a boss.

A nitrogen bonded to a carbonyl is an amide, not an amine.

B is tertiary amide
C is tertiary amine

Think amide with c=o group because 'd' is standing up and amine, nothing is standing up

amide ..............c=o stand up

amine .....................even level letters, boring

Tertiary Amine is the one where Nitrogen is attached to 3 carbons, not the Nitrogen that is attached to a tertiary carbon.
