So I'm trying to calculate my BCPM gpa to make it more accurate, aside from my bio classes I was wondering what similar classes the AAMC has accepted for you?

PSYC- introduction to statistics

Business degree requirements:
STAT- introduction to statistics (different from above)
MATH- Calculus for business and social science
STAT- statistics II
STAT- survey of operations management

If I have to take any more statistics I'm gonna die lol

They'd all count, in my opinion.

I had all my business and econ stat classes count. I even classified my econometrics course, which was offered jointly by the econ and stats dept., as BCPM, and they left it as BCPM, despite the fact a bunch of people on here were adamant that it wouldn't count.

These 3 DEFINITELY count:

STAT- introduction to statistics (different from above)
MATH- Calculus for business and social science
STAT- statistics II

These most likely count as well, but if you have low grades in them then might as well try your luck and make them non-BCPM :naughty:

STAT- survey of operations management
PSYC- introduction to statistics

They will all count. The only one that MIGHT not is the Survey of Operations Management, but the saving grace is that it's in the STAT department and AMCAS is unlikely to change it just based on the course title. So if you did well in that one, list it as math. If not, try to list it under business, but they might change it to math anyway.

P.S. You take statistics in med school too. 😉
