which one is a better topic for diversity essay?

SO I have two topics in mind but am not quite sure which one is a better fit for the diversity essay. I could either talk about my experience studying in the states as an international student or my passion for music and how it makes me think of medicine as another form of art.

I would be interested in reading the second. Either might be ok, but I know I would be most interested in it, because you have the passion.
