Spongy bone or Compact bones?

compact

You couldve answered that just from the names. A sponge is not dense, if something is compact it is very dense.

Question: Spongy has bony spicules (yellow bone marrow in it, which is inactive and fatty) in it (trabeculae),
What does compact bone have in it? It has a cylinder of red bone marrow? Is it solid other than that?

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Compact bones have Haversian canals surrounded with lamellae (if I spelled it right) It's mainly where nerve cells and blood vessels go through!
