I just took Orgo 1, and I understand sn2,sn1,e2,e1 well. I kick butt at nomenclature too. I bought BOTH of the "Organic Chemistry as a Second Language" (by Klein) books...for the 1st and 2nd orgo semester. I was curious...since I haven't taken Orgo2 yet, but am going to take the DAT over Xmas break...which of the following options would help me understand Orgo better in time for the DAT?:
(1) Read both of the Organic Chemistry as a Second Language books
OR...
(2) Just study from the Kaplan BB and watch Chad's videos

Ooooh yeah...I'm not going to buy destroyer. That is expensive stuff! Well...perhaps I will. I keep hearing about the destroyer roadmaps but, I have the Wade textbook, and it has pages and pages of reactions. And I think Kaplan BB is supposed to have a lot of reactions in it as well. Hmm...what to do, what to do...

You don't need Destroyer for OC, all you need is the Roadmap. Heck get a copy from a friend and scan it. Ghetto and cheap but I'm sure we could all use the extra $125.
