Hey guys just needed some advice... If you had a choice between a top-notch academic/university program (but will work hard through residency) versus an university-affiliated program (close to family, easier to manage hours) what would you pick? I want to do a fellowship (maybe a more competitive one - I can get research time at the university-affiliated program + good LORs versus the name of the university program + LORs from somewhat known faculty - but I'm guessing not as personable letters). Any comments?
