I was wondering in which order did you guys start studying for the MCAT(e.g., chemistry first, physics, biology, VR)? Which order is the most helpful?

my friends and I were just talking about this. They have a more recent science background and preferred to do a different subject everyday. That way, your always in touch with every part of the MCAT.

I on the other hand wanted to go that route too, but since it's been a long time since I did basic science (8 yrs....and everyday i hate myself more for not doing this back then!), chose to do each subject on its on. It's more ineffecient as I find I need to review previous subjects often to keep things fresh in my memory but it helped me gain momentum and confidence as I was able to focus on one science component at a time. Also, I was worried if I did all 4 sciences at the same time, things would blurr as my foundation was non-existent. Those are the ads and disads as far as i know.

I would usually start with physics, then do some biology, then some gchem. Either in the same day or over a span of a couple days. Tried to digest things in small chunks. Every couple days I'd squeeze in some verbal (mosty EK and TPR stuff). I really didn't study much ochem at all, because that was my strongest subject and had recently taken it. Physics, on the other hand, was my weakest subject, so I spent more time on that.

what everyone else said above about rotating subjects each day, but along with that take a honest look at your current knowledge and ability about a certain subject. find out which subject is your weakest and the most intimidating, and make sure to emphasize that subject and start with that one FIRST.

Chemistry and physics. HARD. The other subjects (like orgo) were secondary until I had a good handle on those.
