Which pays more Accounting or Pharmacist?

Hey guys im only asking this because my friend likes to be an ass and won't believe anything i say.

So he says that being an Accountant pays more than being a Pharmacist and takes less to complete (school-wise 4 years vs 6).

So can anyone answer this Q for me ( and him 🙄 ) preferably with some #'s as in Salary or Dollars/ Per Hours .

There is no money in healthcare if you plan on stopping at pharmacy.
Pharmacists make about 100,000$/year. Which isn't little per say, but it really
is just 'chump change' for some business guys.

In accounting, it really isn't as simple also.. If you really want to get out there and make big bucks, it would take about 4 years to get your degree, and another 2 years working at a firm and at the same time working towards your (CA .. canadian / CPA .. american) designation.

Top accountants make about 1-2 million$ /year. This requires extremely hard work.

But why stop at accounting.. why not Finance?
Top financial analysts make in the 10-20 million$ range / year in bonuses depending on how well they perform in terms of results. The base pay for these guys however (before bonuses) is less than a pharmacist.. around 80,000-90,000$ / year.

Your salary really depends in the business world on how you perform.. pharmacy is just a good gauranteed way to make a decent living, business is for the risk takers.
