thank you i was wondering though about getting ercp and eus training possibly right in gi fellowship..i know you can't be properly certifid and what not without doing an advanced year but i have heard some programs let you do a lot of these which allows some basic certification

Not sure that there are official lists for this. Typically, places that do not offer Advanced Endoscopy training post-GI fellowship are more likely to offer you the chance for ERCP/EUS exposure. Baylor and Brown are two such programs. I think Yale is a notable exception, where there is Advanced Endoscopy training but GI fellows still get some ERCP time.

This is really a bigger point for those aiming to enter private practice. For those considering academics, it is essential to complete the extra year (or two at some programs).

I believe that the Lahey Clinic in Mass allows ample exposure for ERCP and EUS
