Which punishment should come first?!

So i'm an MS2 and I plan on taking both the COMLEX and USMLE steps 1...I just can't get myself to decide which one to take first of the two.

any help/suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated!

our school recommends taking the COMLEX first and USMLE second. the rationale behind this is that everyone pretty much feels like they failed these exams cause let's face it, they're hard. us DOs have to pass COMLEX to graduate so take that test first. taking the USMLE first might make you feel really really nervous and set you up to do poorly on the COMLEX.

makes sense to me so I'm sticking to it.
