Just wanted to take a poll from the people who have taken the COMLEX about which QBANK they thought was most similar to the COMLEX Step 1. I have heard a lot of good things about USMLE world, but I have heard much about the COMBANK.

For all the DOs basically, which was the most similar, which was the better deal, and which is going to be the best to prepare for the COMLEX? Any input on this is appreciated.

UWORLD and USMLErx for understanding what you've learned the past 2 years.

COMBANK plus NBOME practice test specifically for COMLEX style and OMM questions.
:luck:

I sound like a broken record around this forum, but everyone keeps asking about which qbank to use, so I'll keep answering. There are better options than usmlerx or usmleworld.

Looks like he's just trying to promote whats in his signature.

In terms of COMBANK, you can read my review of it here: http://wp.me/pn2dZ-7

It doesn't stack up well to Rx or to world.

Has anyone seen a direct correlation with their combank/comsae/comlex scores??

Im currently having a huge range in my qbanks and avg out a little over 60% however, im not getting the scores I thought I would be on the comsae's.

As in, you aren't doing as well as you thought you would on the Comsae's or you're doing better? Which versions have you taken?

I also have a huge range on my Combank, but I've been doing question blocks for the past couple months. I'm focusing more on what I've scored over the past couple weeks.

I haven't taken the Comlex yet (on the 15th), but from what I've heard from the class ahead of us the Comsae is the best predictor of what you'll get on the Comlex. Your Combank average is a hard way to predict your Comlex score because you are using it as a learning tool at this point (unless you do most of your combank questions after you've really studied all the material).

When are you taking the plunge? Good luck! 🙂
