I am currently a junior and I plan to apply next cycle. I am picking my classes for the spring and i am not sure, scenario is better. The three scenarios for my science classes are microbiology, embryology or comparative anatomy and embryology or the last scenario was since i am taking a light load next semester was to take biochemistry and do really well. Im just not sure if only taking biochem and doing well will outweigh taking two bios and doing well when they first see my application. any advice?

It all depends on what you can handle, the better you do with the bigger courseload, the better it looks....i am currently taking biochem, microbio, molecular bio, physics 2, and calc + research, so if i can pull off some decent grades(like i did last semester with same type of courseload) it will def look good on my transcript to adcoms....it shows that you can handle a tough courseload, and that you will survive ds.

Good luck👍

No one but your school and you will know which course was tougher than the other. One thing you might want to keep in mind is that if you are planning to apply next summer and taking the DAT in May or June. Take a lighter course load next semester so you can focus on the DAT.

That is actually the plan since im already ahead in credits by about a semester anyways. I want to kill the DAT and get more ECs in next semester as well.
