Which DO schools do you know that specifically tells applicants not to send in letter of recommendations (LORs) until a specific date? I know NYCOM says to wait until September 1st. Any other schools? Is this true for schools that only send secondary application with interview invites? Thanks.

where does it say this for NYCOM?

I am not sure if this is what you are asking, but I would not send any LORs to any schools until you at least have the secondary in your hand. In my experience, once you have the secondary in your hand or submitted, it is fair game to send LORs.

I was referring to sending them in prior to receiving secondary applications. I know there are schools out there that say you can do that. I'm wondering about those that say you can't or prefer it if you hold it until a certain date.

For example, NYCOM only send secondary applications out starting September through April. They sent me a letter saying that they have received my aacomas application but to hold off sending LORs until September 1st.
